Getting started is simple, and it's free.
Write me a letter, by e-mail or snail mail, telling me about yourself and your goals as a writer. Let me know whether you want to write short stories, a novel, magazine articles, a play, essays, or a memoir — or something else. Tell me if getting published is one of your goals.
Maybe you have no desire at all to get published but want to improve your writing for other reasons. Let me get a sense, through the letter you write to me, of who you are, where you've been, and what you're up to. Feel free to ask me questions about my own life and work. Include a photo if you wish.
The day I get your letter I'll read it and answer it.
Based on that exchange of letters, we'll know whether we want to work together or not. If we decide we do, we can get started.
If you want to start working with me right away, you can send me your manuscript via e-mail, and pay with your credit card using PayPal. Using PayPal is especially useful for my clients who are out of the USA and pay in foreign currency. Please also include a letter telling me something about you and your writing goals.
